This week the ornamental trees started to bloom. On Monday they were tentative, flowering only in sheltered places, but yesterday afternoon was warm and sunny and they took on a lacy look. And what a blue sky!
Not today. It’s pouring and dark. A raindrop is poised on the Pitt peregrine webcam cover like a little cloud.

I just trimmed my own Bradford Pear tree yesterday and saved some twigs in bloom for a big glass vase before the rain and wind came!
You often walk past my house in Oakland and I’ve often said hi too you as I see you always on the look out for birds.
