There are now three peregrine falcon eggs at the Cathedral of Learning nest.
Dorothy laid her third egg at about 2:00am today. (Click here for her latest video.)
Watch for her to begin “The Big Sit” (incubation) soon.

Hey Kate — I was telling a friend about Dorothy’s 3rd egg when she inquired about Dorothy’s age etc. Did a web search and found the great PDF you put together about nesting peregrines in western Pa. Great source of info AND nostalgia. Thanks for all you do!!
66 hours between the first two and 61 hours between these. She’s one steady bird, Anne Marie. Thursday afternoon should be pretty exciting.
