Yes, two cheetah’s were making the rounds (a dozen or so safari vans were present) to get a better view. We’re pretty sure these two people didn’t even know the cheetah was right there. They were focused on the second cheetah.
Most of the vans had a pop-up roof, and they climbed clear to the top of several vans. One came up on our van – only to the hood and then got down. The other van in our group (of twelve people) had the lengthiest visit and the most “scary” as he stuck his head partially under the roof area – putting himself within 3 feet of the front row of passengers.
They seemed to be only trying to get higher off the ground though, for a better view, and didn’t hurt anyone. 🙂
