Most baby animals are cute but fox kits could win the Cutest prize.
Last month in Alberta, Dan Arndt photographed three red fox kits playing and exploring while their mother supervised nearby. They tussled like puppies and paused to look curiously at the human with the camera.

Thanks for adding Dan’s Flicker page. I never seen a fox run ,full out showing all four paws off the ground at the same time as a horse does. Usually foxes are shown ambling along or pouncing.
We discovered a grey fox family living in our back yard north of Pittsburgh just last weekend. My mother saw a fox in the front yard a couple of weeks ago, our first sighting of foxes in our neighborhood in the 40+ years we’ve been here. Then last week we were out watching and photographing the lightning bugs and had a fox yelp at us. We didn’t realize we were yards from their den under a tree that had fallen a few years ago. Friday night I looked out my bedroom window and found fox kits playing inside our garden fence. Then on Saturday I got video of 7 kits!
