Here’s a bird you won’t see in Pennsylvania. He was photographed at Carrizo Plain National Monument, 100 miles (as the crow flies) northwest of Los Angeles, California.

Burrowing Owl
Burrowing owl…We’ve seen them in several states, but the most amusing sighting was at the gravel-covered edge of a Walmart parking lot in Arizona.
Love the owl, but Carrizo Plain is 100 miles as the crow flies, ( more like 150 by car) Northwest of LA.
