Here she is again!
The new female peregrine visited the nestbox at the Cathedral of Learning — again! — on Thursday 17 October in the 10 o’clock hour.
I’m heading out now to go birding. Watch for more news when I have time today/tomorrow.

Kate, will they clean the nest box during the off season? Would the new female find that more attractive than a site that shows use by another bird? Or, if it’s a good nest site, they don’t care if it was used previously by another bird?
She is a very distinctive female. Think we should name her “Buffy” for her coloring. We’ll see if she is a vampire slayer or a sweet pig-tailed girl from the 60’s. Family Affair. Time will tell.
still hoping for HOpe . it would not be first time we have seen another peregirne hanging around in off season (bev)
