Morela laid her second egg last evening around 8:27pm. Around midnight she took a break at the front perch so they were easy to see.
Watch them on the National Aviary falconcam at University of Pittsburgh.

Looks like we are off to a great season at the nest. Fingers crossed that we will see 3-4 chicks being raised here. Such an awesome nest for falcons. Peregrine chicks are so much fun to observe.
It seems like Morela is incubating now. So third egg tomorrow? Can’t wait to see what happens. Is Ecco bringing food?
Mary Kate, she lays an egg every other day. Since the 2nd one was late in the day I’ll expect the there’s one early on 3/22. Regarding incubation: see my blog about it
This is always exciting.
Any word on what’s going on downtown with Dori? and ??
J, Jeff Cieslak photographed a peregrine near the 3rd Avenue nest on Friday. Other than that no news.
I am very excited for the Pitt falcons this year. I check on them at least 6 times a day.
